For purposes of control, coordination and continuity, Landscapes Unlimited, LLC (“LU”) Project Managers will manage the project from the pre-bid to job close out. They will visit the project frequently, helping the crews achieve cost and schedule objectives as well as handling challenges that may arise during the construction process. This will include but is not limited to; schedule management, budget and quality of work monitoring, participation in weekly monitoring and updating.
Mr. Sorensen has been with LU for over 8 years. Prior to working with LU, he worked for 5 years installing Commercial/Residential Irrigation and performing landscape construction for BL&G in Utah. Gregg also spent 1 season on an Internship with Stonehenge Construction in Moses Lake, WA performing some landscape and irrigation construction and spent 4 years doing landscape maintenance for BWB properties in Orem, UT.
Mr. Sorensen has a thorough knowledge of both field techniques involved in golf course and athletic field construction. Gregg has expertise in cost estimating, project scheduling and overall project execution. Whether working in the field or overseeing Construction, Irrigation and Landscape Superintendents, Gregg brings hands on expertise and experience contributing to LU’s overall success.
Landscapes Unlimited’s Safety Program is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. The result of our company’s sustained efforts to train our employees has resulted in an EMR rate, the industry’s measurement of safety performance, of 0.81, one of the lowest in our industry.
Landscapes Unlimited is the result of the aspirations and dreams of William “Bill” Kubly, a registered landscape architect. Bill has spent over 40 years in the golf course and recreational development industry and is the driving force behind one of the best known, honored and successful names in the industry.

Landscapes Unlimited is one of the largest organizations in the golf and recreational development and operations industry. At peak time, over 1,000 employees are focused on construction activities and servicing the needs of facilities under ownership and/or management. We self-perform 90+% of project work tasks with our highly mobile crews.
In 1977, the Lakeview Golf Course in Mitchell, S.D., a nine-hole addition built for the city of Mitchell’s Park and Recreation Dept., was started and completed. Total contract amount was about $150,000.
In 1987, Landscapes Unlimited had about 35 full-time workers and as many as 100 employees during peak periods.
In 1992, Caves Valley Golf Club, the Tom Fazio designed course built in Baltimore, and was ranked as the third best new private course by Golf Digest in its annual rankings for that year.
In 1995, Landscapes Unlimited completed its 100th job, Plum Brook Country Golf, a $300,000 renovation project in Sandusky, Ohio.
In 1997 Landscapes Unlimited went online with its first website.
In 2000, Landscapes Unlimited opened The Players Club at Deer Creek, an Arnold Palmer signature design and 1 of a portfolio of 10 owned properties.
In 2006, Landscapes Unlimited completed its 700th job, a $400,000 synthetic turf athletic field for Kennedy High School, in San Antonio, TX.
In 2015, Landscapes Unlimited added over (10) new management clients in one year.
In 2016, Landscapes Management Company reached 40 active golf management clients.
In 2017, Landscapes Unlimited completed their 1700th job, reached 50 courses under management, and eclipsed 2000 employees.
