Landscapes Unlimited is the result of the aspirations and dreams of William “Bill” Kubly, a registered landscape architect. Bill has spent over 40 years in the golf course and recreational development industry and is the driving force behind one of the best known, honored and successful names in the industry.
Landscapes Unlimited was founded by Bill Kubly in 1976 and is a Limited Liability Company.
Landscapes Unlimited is licensed and/or registered to do business in 49 states, in United Arab Emirates, China, and Mexico.
Because of the wide array of specialties and delivery methods available by Landscapes Unlimited, we are positioned to deliver your project on time, on budget and with added value the way our clients want them.
Landscapes Unlimited is one of the largest organizations in the golf and recreational development and operations industry. At peak time, over 1,000 employees are focused on construction activities and servicing the needs of facilities under ownership and/or management. We self-perform 90+% of project work tasks with our highly mobile crews.
As technology and environmental initiatives advance we have accredited professionals that work to lead and train our experienced crews on new techniques and practices. We are proud to have on our staff LEED AP & LEED Green Associates, ISA Certified Arborists & OSHA certified staff.
Landscapes Unlimited has executed over 1,800 construction and development projects throughout the United States of America, the Caribbean, Asia and the Middle East. The construction value of work completed since 1976 exceeds well over $2.5 Billion USD.
Landscapes Unlimited’s Safety Program is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. The result of our company’s sustained efforts to train our employees has resulted in an EMR rate, the industry’s measurement of safety performance, of 0.81, one of the lowest in our industry.
Landscapes Unlimited owns or manages over 50 properties throughout the U.S, Canada and China. With this experience we truly have an owner’s perspective building our clients projects.

LU is one of the largest procurer’s of green space related materials and equipment in the industry. This relationship with National Vendors provides our clients with the most competitive pricing and terms.
LU invests a significant amount of our time and resources to training employees within all levels of our organization. We employ a number of staff members whose main responsibilities are focused on employee training. Some of the workshops that are conducted throughout each year are:
Landscapes Unlimited has gone to great lengths to ensure that workers on our job sites in the United States comply with all the US Immigration Policies. This is accomplished by working within the US Governments H2B, J-1 and E-3 visa programs. These temporary work visa programs allow LU to hire workers from outside the United States on a seasonal basis only when the US labor market will not support our needs. LU follows strict governmental regulations. Retention of those utilized under this program is high and it provides LU with an additional pool of experienced workers throughout the peak construction periods if needed. LU has also been instrumental in assisting golf facilities source quality seasonal workers.
