The team at Bull Valley Golf Club is never short on innovative, humorous ideas. Two Bags Between Us is just that.  Debuting as an hour-long Facebook Live Q&A, Head Professional, Mike Picciano & Director of Golf Instruction, Matt Jones hosted a video most won’t soon forget.  From live questions with their members to at-home instruction, they knocked this one out of the park! After two successful episodes, they’ve now become a Saturday afternoon staple going live at noon CST each Saturday through the shelter in place in Illinois. There is a chance that they could be fielding phone calls for a permanent spot on ESPN soon! 


 
The Broadlands /// Social Distancing Communication to Golfers 
Communication is key, and utilizing technology is vital in today’s world.  Chris Lewis and the team at The Broadlands Golf Course have used Facebook Live for daily updates on new procedures, course updates, all while walking their guests through the new norm at The Broadlands.  The virtual experience invites a different type of interaction than their guests are used to, but keeps everyone safe and able to access the golf course to enjoy some fresh air.

The Golf Shop Staff at Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club invited their members into the shop for a one time only live virtual sale.
The team took time to interact with their members and guests on a level that made you feel as if you were standing with them in the shop; their jokes were even funny live! What’s better? Throughout the live sale, there were interactive giveaways, questions and answers, and, most of all, continued communication with their membership. 


The Players Club Omaha /// Personal Shopping 
 Everyone gets excited when the Golf Shop at The Players Club gets loaded with their gear for the season. This year, it all looked a little different.  The team at The Players Club didn’t let the new norm stop their members from getting a first-hand look at the merchandise by offering virtual shopping over FaceTime, providing a one-on-one shopping experience for their members! Shoreline Golf Course  /// Online Check In’s 
Employing different uses of technology has allowed several courses to eliminate any unnecessary contact in the golf shop between staff and guests through online check-ins, allowing a no-touch approach from check-in through the end of your round. In working with ChronoGolf, several of our courses have taken advantage of their offerings allowing golf to be a safe outlet for people during the current pandemic.
